Spirit of '44 was founded to offer an unprecedented selection of authentic reproduction WWII squadron patches. I've been a student of WWII for as long as I can remember. I grew up listening to stories from my Grandfather and many friends that lived that era.

The air war and the aircraft was always my focus of attention. As a pilot, I've flown as PIC in the B-17, B-24, B-25, P-51C/D, AT-6, Stearman and many more. The fascination with WWII also extended to the art that emerged from this era. Over the years I have immersed myself in the history of what this generation accomplished. I am proud to offer this genre in many forms and varied media. I feel that honoring these heroes is essential to perpetuation of history.
